Competitor citations
If a competitor has higher visibility for one of the prompts you’re tracking, then citations give you the insight into what content is working for them. Then you can reverse-engineer and produce similar content for your brand. In the example below we can see how a page about Skytrax awards is helping Qatar Airways have strong visibility for the prompt “What’s the best airline to fly from Singapore to Europe”. This is an insight that Singapore Airlines can use to produce similar content on its website.
